why can't i get a good night's sleep in a (casino)hotel? its a quandary of a pickle i tell you. its currently 7:47 am on february 10, 2009 here at the beautiful Foxwoods Casino Hotel Resort and Spa. i was in bed by midnite last nite and was looking forward to catching up on some much needed zzzzzs. unfortunately i woke up at 6am and my body refuses to shut back down. i'm playing a $560 nlhe tourney over at the beautiful Mohegan Sun Casino Spa Resort and Hotel at 10am and could probably use the extra 2+ hours sleep but instead i'm sitting in front of my 'puter talking at you monkeys.
i've been up here in magical central connecticut since thursday afternoon. foxwoods had a $2K Megastack tournament on friday, and a $560 the next day. mohegan sun is holding a "winter chill" tournament series, with a few $300s, a $500, $1k, and $2500 main event. the trip got off to an inauspicious start but seems like it might be turning itself around. my head was definitely not on in straight as recently as a few days ago, but i feel focused and confident going into the mo' sun leg of the trip.
i was going to type up the first half of my trip report in this post. however, i will have to put it on the back burner for now. right around 7:51 am it dawned on me that they still have porn on the internet. considering the fact that my body is actually just a breathing machine for my dick, blogging took a decisive backseat to youporn.com.
i no longer feel focused and confident. i now feel lethargic and disgusted.
